Default 2 New Heritage Units

Hello,
I heard from my hobby shop dealer that Norfolk Southern was adding 2 new heritage units. The Lehigh & New England and The Lehigh & Hudson River. Does anyone have aditional info on this? Like is this true or just a rummor?

I'd think twice if he had them available in brass on the shelf, lol.

Kidding aside, I think I had heard that rumor (two additional units) but nothing more.

Considering how obscure and regional those two railroads are, it's obviously just a rumor.

Lehigh and New England Railroad = Central Railroad of New Jersey heritage unit

Lehigh and Hudson River Railway = Conrail heritage unit.

Although traditionally hobby shop owners do know things before anyone else.

It wouldn't really make sense to have a New Haven unit, NS doesn't operate any ex-NH trackage (save for a handful of miles in the Campbell Hall (NY) area.)

Actually, my mistake, it appears to now be operated by the Middletown & New Jersey - which means that the NS doesn't operate any ex-NH trackage, at least, none that I'm aware of.

Yes, for example CSX is the owner of the remnants of the ex-NH Cedar Hill yard in New Haven, CT, and has trackage rights for local freight switching on Metro North's NH Line.
