Default PCA / SC / POTW trend lately?

Sunsets / sunrises?

Been bombarded with them lately, is this a trend, dumb luck, sheer coincidance or some sort of conspiracy?

It's a conspiracy to get foamers to wake up earlier.

PCA's have been kinda 'eh' to me over the last several weeks (minus a couple very worthy shots). I say conspiracy!

Why get up early when the best light is around noon time.

It's also usually brutal (heat-wise) at noon around this time of the year.
Fall, Winter, and Spring are my favorite seasons for train time.

It's just the current obsession. This, too, will pass.

One day, high sun will be all the rage. Many of us should be in great shape to score big time points when that day comes...

I think the facination is more primordial then a mere trend - case in point, humans have been enthralled by the rising and setting of the sun since they lived in caves and wore the pelts of animals.

The addition of a train to such a scene is rather ancillary.
