Default RP Worthy?

Opinions/suggestions on this image? Not sure if this is RP worthy, I tried it since the opportunity presented itself and I liked the way the light was reflecting off of the car.

The only thing I dislike about the image is the cropping. I think the handbrake is positioned awkwardly, but don't know where to place it in the frame.

Thanks,
Chase

I think it is bottom-heavy so I would move the wheel up. I'm not a fan of the left/right balance but I have no suggestion for that.

there is a bit of an illusion that brings the grab iron on the right towards the camera, a cool effect

I might like it better if I saw the two bars come together at the bottom. Or I might not.

Janusz, didn't you do a "Composition: Brake Wheel" on your RailPixCritic blog a while back?? I would put the link up but then I might be accused of being a "view !@#%#" as somebody said, (like I care how many views I get)

Chase;

Personally, I'd say it's a fine pBase photo, not a RP candidate. I'm also suspect of the black and white conversion. It looks too grey to me.

Looks oversharpened too on my work monitor Chase.

Thanks for remembering!

(I see I have some problems with images on the latest post, will have to fix those, but the linked one is fine.)

Thanks for the feedback.

Who knew J would have a blog post dedicated to this particular subject??

Might try to edit the image over again, on my fresh eyes this morning, I notice a hint of oversharpening and bad contrast.
