I didn't notice the question about the glint. Not having been there with you, I can't say what it really looked like. I'm not a fan of jazzing up a shot beyond the moment it represents. You may wish to see if a contrast increase - brightens the bright spots and darkens the dark areas - and an offsetting brightness decrease, or partially offsetting, gives you the look you are remembering.

As for the jaggies, as long as you are revisiting the image, make an effort on them. Carl didn't notice, but apparently the screener did.

Is the appeal screener more likely to have tastes like the original screener or like Carl?
