I would say that the issue may be a little bit of over exposure... I think it may benefit from about 0.25 CW rotation as well. I played with curves and brought the photo exposure down a bit, as well...

No reason to be ashamed to ask questions here. I think another 0.25 to 0.5 degrees of CCW is needed, and maybe a touch of sharpening as well. Then, I would think the shot should be accepted.
