Oh yeah Jim... The GE's are fading that way especially with the acidic engine grime and coal dust retardant crap they put on it... The snow only highlights it.

Thanks for the suggestions all... I'll try the eye dropper, if it still exists in CS5. I didn't think of that, I was manually moving the curve.

Jim, never thought about that... thats a good point. Half the problem is that the engines weren't that clean to begin with, quite a few roaming around now have engine grime, however they should...

Ok... for curves which setting would you use? Lighter or one of the contrast options? I'm not too familiar with Curves as I haven't used them before, of course I haven't shot too much in the snow...

I don't like the angle of the bridge. Get a side shot or stand by the end for more of a direct on at a higher elevation. I can't make out what the train really is, I see too much of the bridge...
