When something is low in contrast, is it possible to brighten it a little. I don't want to brighten it too much.

I will be honest that I don't see the lowness in contrast.

Good shot, considering that it's dusk. You could lighten it up, but if you do, I would lighten the highlights. That might help, but the shot still might miss the cutoff by a little bit.

What aperture and shutter speed were you using? It does look out of focus.

I don't remember sending a duplicate. This shot didn't get in, even if I were to have accidently send a duplicate. I believe its image quality issues, which I hope I can fix.

I'm going to railfan one of NJT's least frequent lines tomorrow during the p.m. rush, and I will only photograph like four trains, so I still might stick with aperture priority for most of the shots.
