In the early 1850s, the Pennsylvania Railroad constructed
its route from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh through the
site of Braddock's defeat in modern-day Braddock and North Braddock.

I read long ago that skeletons of soldiers were
found during the digging; they were re-interred
in one of the local cemeteries.
