What do you think, can these be fixed?

CSX -- It's very dark. Not sure why they didn't mention that as it's more obvious than the color. When you lighten it up, you may have some bad image quality. The lighting looks like it's going somewhat straight down the tracks. Not sure how the front trucks might look when brightened. The ballast also looks unsharp. And the shot needs recropped to allow more room up top.

BNSF -- Same thing with cropping. Needs more room up top in my mind. More sky, less ground. Color is a little off. Might could use more contrast or more saturation. And a tad more sharpening

The BNSF picture looks a bit overexposed to me - most clouds seem to be blown out. A little contrast might fix the bottom part, but might exacerbate the problem in the sky...

As for the CSX shot, the colour looks fine to me, but I agree that it seems just a bit dark.

Maybe it is my eyes from being out in the sun all day but the front of the BNSF looks a little blurry to me. The left ditch light stands out to me for some reason.

I ended up with this for the BNSF shot. I feel like the color might still be a little off? And I know the top left is blown out which makes me think they wouldn't take it.
