I really like this picture, but I thought I'd post it here before submitting it.

Overall, it has a washed out look to it. Messing with the contrast and saturation, it can look better, but the composition is the big question mark. It's usually a foul to have the subject dead center like here, but it might work with the dude throwing the switch being on a 1/3 line. Also, going smaller (800x600) will help with any image quality/noise issues:

There is some grain/noise in there and it looks like it could be unlevel a hair to the left.

No one has said it, to my surprise!, but that just means that I get to say it! :)


The shot has the harsh light of a midday shot. Look at the shadows. All of the trucks, and the engine, are basically sitting on top of their shadows, there is almost nothing off to the side. And the light is harsh. I'd put it aside.

As a matter of fact, this morning I DID put aside a high sun shot of my own! Oh well...
