Opinions needed for cropping that one
 
Hi all,
That shot was rejected for bad cropping.

Just wanna to know yours opinions about cropping it.

The nose of the train is just too near the center of the photo which is not well received at RP.Net. Also, I think there is too much dead space on the right side of the shot as well.

IMHO this was the first of several reasons why this shot was/will be rejected. The photo looks grainy, oversharpened, and overexposed to me.

I would set this aside and try again.

I don't think the cars on the left add, or would subtract much if not there, so I think it would be ok to crop in a little closer. Also try a .75 degree rotation left (counter clockwise) and try a cropping like the attached image. This makes it straight and gets the train out of the center of the shot without really compromising the feel of the photo.

I think it's worth a shot so Good luck!

Thanks alot for replaying.Its hard to catch another shot like that one as the ballast trains are very rare on that line and just passenger action.It was rejected at first with unlevel then bad cropping and i can see now that cars on the left donot add to the shot.I think that i will give it another try on my free time.Thanks again for replaying and take care.
