FEC SD70M-2s close to delivery

Just thought I'd mention for those who might not have heard elsewhere, it appears some of the FEC's new SD70M-2s are at VMV in Paducah, KY, fully painted in a blue, yellow, and silver scheme and nearly ready for delivery. Word is the units will test run on the Paducah & Louisville this week before heading to Florida.

Anyone know their route to Florida?

I'd love to see them come down the Lineville Sub!

FEC SD70M-2s close to delivery

The paint scheme sure looks similar to the Alaska Railroad scheme! Also curious to what the builder plate reads, if it says EMD or GMDD.A couple of years ago GM was interested in selling off the locomotive division GMDD in London, did it ever go through. So are these EMD SD70M-2 or GMDD SD70M-2.

GM sold of EMD about a year and a half ago. The manufacturer is "EMD" or Electro-Motive Diesel.
